ഏ This is a story from an American friend.　

Most of media seemed to be considerable severe criticism by the reason of consideration and the lack of to a late family explanation to safety measures in there being too many excuses, an accident.　It will be the feelings that are natural for a country concerned.

Because it was defective if based on a fact, a fatal accident occurred. 

ഏ Mr. Akio Toyoda enforced a business policy in accord with the needs of the customer and swept away arrogant management policies and I declared it in customer-oriented constitution without an employee being puffed up when I revolutionized it and gave it.

Therefore I emphasized that I visited each country in a few days and finished voluntary explanation. Will it be only me to have been influenced in some way by barefaced feelings?

The United States of America is a severe country for false evidence unlike Japan.

ഏ これは米国の友人からの話です。

メディアの多くは、言い訳が多すぎること、事故で亡くなった家族への思いやりと安全対策への説明不足を理由に、かなりの酷評だったとのことです。当事国としては当たり前の感情であろう。

事実に基づけば欠陥があったから人身事故が発生したのである。

ഏ 豊田章夫氏は、顧客のニーズに合った営業方針を徹底させ、傲慢な経営方針を一掃し、社員が慢心することなく顧客本位の体質に変革すると謳い上げた。

『世界の主要都市に本社と同格の、決定権を持つ管理会社を配置する 』とも明言した。そのため近日中に各国を訪問すると強調して自主説明を終えた。何処となく白々しい感情に支配されたのは私だけだろうか！？

日本と違ってアメリカ合衆国は偽証には厳しい国です。

ഏ It might be indeed convenient in such a case when living in foreigner's standpoint.

If whether impartiality is not asked, the real intention of another country to Japan looks good and I hear it.　I can feel the evaluation of Toyota Motor Corporation to be skin in a true meaning.  This is expensive valuables-like experience not to be able to value for the money.

ഏ I thought that it was a French state television, but Akio Toyota took up the name of oneself and a caster was quick and put gag 〞 and comment to know only 〝 Japanese in a remark that I did not run or hide because my family name was Toyoda.

 I felt that I was not good for comment of this place.

ഏ 外国人の立場で生活しているとこの様な場合は誠に都合が良いことがあります。

公平かどうかを問わなければ、日本に対する他国の本音が良く見えたり聞こえたりします。本当の意味でトヨタ自動車の評価も肌で感ずることが出来ます。これはお金では買えない高価な貴重品的な経験であります。

ഏ フランス国営テレビだったと思いますが、豊田章夫氏がご自分の姓名を取り上げ、私の苗字は豊田ですから逃げも隠れもしないとの発言に、キャスターが素早く〝日本人にしか通じないギャグだ 〞とコメントを入れた。なるほどと思いました。

この場のコメントとしては相応しくないと感じました。

ഏ When a one gear began to be out of order, there was the reality that I couldn't but expose wretched disgraceful behavior to even in world Toyota. A thought of the profit real intention lets you be out of order until the mind of the employee and will be the reality that has brought up the change of the wrong corporate culture.

If human arrogance and self-conceit born from there were able to do, I thought that it was only the sample which pictured a stupid heart in a picture. 

ഏ I was received and had taken side with the channel of Britain, France, Germany, and rice on February 24, 2010 though was able to broadcast the pattern of the open hearing by NHK.

It is possible enough to know the evaluation to Toyota Motor by how to take up each country media though caster's story is able not to be caught because it is no learning.

The foreign communications approaches in the truth about such a thing keenly without sandwiching the personal feelings so as to be cold-hearted. In a sense I may be excited than I watch TV drama.

ഏ ひとつ歯車が狂い出すと、世界のトヨタですら惨めな醜態を晒さざるを得ない現実があった。収益本意の思考が社員の精神まで狂わせ、間違った企業体質の変革を育んでしまった現実でもあろう。

そこから生まれた人間の傲慢と慢心がなし得たものならば、愚かな心を絵に描いた見本でしかないと思いました。

ഏ ２０１０年２月２４日、米議会公聴会の模様はＮＨＫでも放送されましたが、私は英・仏・独・米のチャンネルにかじり付いていました。

無学ゆえにキャスターの話を聞き取れる訳ではなかった。しかし、各国メディアの取り上げ方によって、トヨタ自動車への評価を知る事は充分に可能であります。


こうしたことになると外国の報道機関は、私情をはさまず鋭く非情なまでに真実にせまる。ある意味ではTVドラマを観るより興奮することもあったりします。

ഏ When the next day and the night came, it reported on the recall problem of Toyota Motor also in NHK.

However, former president Mr. Watanabe was a rapture in only several months ago when having ruled the world.　Does the abuse of a wrong pride produce 10 million defective vehicles between slightly, and was the loss of one trillion yen done through necessity?　It is a foolish story.

ഏ A few days later, Toyota Motor Corporation could not finish covering the malfunction of the prius car and decided recall declaration including three associated car models in the country.

There was less damage and should not have finished it if you gave an ordinary response from a beginning? If this is a business policy of Toyota Motor Corporation, buy anything; a wooden bowl.

I felt that the constitution of Toyota had completely changed obediently.

ഏ 次の日、夜になるとNHKでもトヨタ自動車のリコール問題を報じた。

然し、ほんの数か月前に渡辺前社長は世界を制したと有頂天だった。間違った自尊心の乱用が、僅か数か月の間に一千万台の欠陥車を生産してしまい、一兆円もの損失を余儀なくされてしまったことになる?  馬鹿げた話だ！！

ഏ 数日後、トヨタ自動車はプリウス車の不具合を隠しきれず、日本国内でも関連する三車種を含めリコール宣言に踏み切った。

最初から当たり前の対応をしていれば、ダメージはもっと少なくて済んだ筈ではないだろうか!? これがトヨタ自動車の営業方針ならば何をかいわんやである。 

トヨタの体質は完全に変わってしまったと素直に感じました。

ഏ As for the cause that the accident problem of the Toyota car spreads to the open hearing of US Congress, United States Toyota did not accept the accident cause investigation request over repeated of the victim quite similarly to my event.   I hear that victims who run out of numbness seemed to be the results of moving Diet member in local because a too irresponsible, negligent attitude continues.

The friend told Toyota Motor to have declared the recall again though it was thought it was a certain January 25, 2010 when such every day was spent. 

I correctly thought that it was the street though it had a hearty laugh if penalty did not seem to be reduced in the place in which turnabout now.  Toyota Motor has become too haughty too much, and the mind to think a general customer to be one's clients might vanished if another expression is done.  

ഏ トヨタ車の事故問題が米議会の公聴会にまで波及した原因は、私の事件と全く同様に、米国トヨタが被害者の事故原因究明要請に対し、全く適切な対応を取らずに無関心な態度を取り続けたため、痺れを切らした被害者たちが地元の国会議員を動かした結果であるらしいとのことでした。

そんな日々を送る中で確か2010年1月25日 だったと思いますが、トヨタ自動車がリコール宣言したことを再び友人が伝えて来た。

今更方向転換したところで、ペナルティーが軽減されるとは思えないと大笑いしていたが、正しくその通りだと思いました。 別の言い方をするならば、トヨタ自動車が余りにも尊大になり過ぎてしまい、一般の顧客をお得意先と思う心まで消え失せてしまった結果だろう。

ഏ It is the aim that wrote an advisory as possible calmly by oneself. However, I did not read it again. 

The contents wrote that the evidence photography of the accident car was over first.  Then, I continued that I received the reception that said, "the bolt of the wheel compromised and did not make a fuss" almost when I called the Toyota Motor Corporation Philippines because there was communication at all from no post.

I learned the fatigue that I had not felt so far to write only this.

ഏ The evidence taking a picture was reported to have ended in an overseas general manager, and it touched the matter of the US Congress open hearing a little more.  

It was pointed out that the processing method of the accident of the United States and my accident was too similar as monotonously as possible.  It was added that making public was being percussed by public relations in the United States.　


It would be useless and had a foreboding even if I told anything to this person when I became miserable, and oneself would be exhausted.

ഏ 自分では出来る限り冷静に状況報告を書いた心算です。然し、読み返すことはしなかった。


内容は事故車の証拠写真撮影は終わったことを最初に書き、次にはどこの部署からも全く連絡がないので、トヨタ自動車フィリピンへ電話を入れると、『 車輪のボルトが折れたくらいで大騒ぎするな 』、と言わんばかりの応対を受けたと続けました。


これだけ書くのに今まで感じたことのない疲労感を覚えました。　

ഏ 海外室長にも証拠写真撮影が終わったことを告げ、米国議会公聴会の件にも少し触れました。 勿論、すでに連絡は入っているだろうとは考えていました。 


出来るだけ平板的に、米国の事故と当方の事故との処理方法が、余りにも類似していると指摘しました。米国の報道関係から公表を打診されていることも書き足しました。


然し心の中では、この人に何を話しても無駄であろうし、自分自身が惨めになり疲れ切ってしまうだろうとの予感もありました。

ഏ A few days later, fatal accident contents of Toyota Motor Corporation in the United States arrive from a friend; the; when showed our accident from an acquaintance again, please received a request. 


The appearance to a U.S. congressional hearing of Toyota Motor Corporation determined that new year began, and information that President Toyota would be called was brought.

However, no telephone reached one piece of postcard from the Toyota side ( Maintenance man of the Laguna factory / The Toyota Motor Corporation Philippines / Customer-related overseas general manager ) even if three months passed after evidence photography was over. 


 For the end of January when I reached new age, and the world had begun to move, I accepted the third document to President Toyota.

I reconsidered it repeatedly and looked, but felt it when I had stepped too much to deepen to swallow it as it is.　


Oneself too thought miserably even if I got rid of selfish feelings.　And it is a result in conflict with oneself desperately when this is not a problem only for one oneself.

ഏ 数日後、友人から米国でのトヨタ自動車の死亡事故内容が届き、そのまた知り合いからは、当方の事故を公開してはどうかと要請を受けました。

年が明けるとトヨタ自動車の米議会公聴会への出頭が決定し、豊田社長が呼び出されるだろうとの情報がもたらされたのです。

然し、証拠写真撮影が終わってから三か月が過ぎてもトヨタ側からは、ラグーナ工場の整備員もToyota Motor Philippinesも原田室長からも、一本の電話も１枚のハガキ連絡も届きませんでした。


新しい年を迎え世の中が動き出した一月の下旬、豊田社長宛てに三度目の書面を認めました。




繰り返し考え直して見ましたが、このまま泣き寝入りするのには、深みに踏み込み過ぎてしまったと感じてしまった。 


我儘な感情を取り除いたとしても、余りにも自分自身が惨めにも思えたのです。 そして、これは自分一人だけの問題ではないと必死に己と戦った結果でもあります。
