この話が李完用や伊藤博文の耳に届いたら、彼らは墓場の陰で激しく涙する事であろう。
そもそも日韓併合前の朝鮮人識字率は１割以下であり、ハングル文字は女文字や子供文字と呼ばれ両班たちから蔑まれていた。
支那の属国が５００数十年も続いたので漢文が公式文字とされていたからである。
