It was April, 2005. I am uneasy, and the woman who "asks for a woman because money of 200 and 300 prepares anytime" does not calm down when not in the side. 気が付くと何人かのタレントを思い浮かべ、長谷氏に重ね合わせたりする自分に何度となく苦笑したものです。彼の執拗な粘りに根負けしたと言った方が正確かも知れません。

ある日、私はアシスタントだったタレントのＡｎｎａｌｙｎ Ｓａｎｔｏｓに彼のことを相談して見た。
彼女の答えは明快でした。大部分のタレントは日本人との結婚を望んでいる。家族の借金や事務所の契約を処理して貰えるなら、殆どのタレントは結婚に同意するとの返事が返った。
悪戯心から君も同じか尋ねると、満面に笑みを浮かべて指を鳴らした

It was provoked after a meal to a bar nearby.

Nagatani did not drink liquor, but seemed to love a woman awfully. I turned a hand to the back without letting you be not crowded when a woman sat on the neighbor and began the exchange of the phone number. It was the action that was too enough to demonstrate the woman problem that the wife who parted grieved over.

It was sure that it was past 4:00 p.m. so that the staff of the office burst into laughter and received an invitation to eating and drinking or golf afterwards.

断わり切れずに３月８日と４月８日の両日、彼のメンバー・コースでゴルフをやる破目になりましたが、当然の様に往復の車中ではタレントのことが話題の中心を占めたのです。

彼女達の借金の額や内容などを根ほり歯ほり質問され、辟易となりながら個人差はあるが、事務所と家族の借金を合わせれば２０万から５０万ペソくらいだろうと答えたことを記憶しております。

今にして思えば余程の事に女性を必要としていたのでしょう。

When there was important consultation from Nagatani on the evening of February 5 when the moon changed, it was called by a Japanese restaurant. I began to talk when I introduced a woman as soon as I sat down in my seat.

『 奥さんと別れてから夜は眠れず朝は起きられないと云う。脱力感に襲われゴルフをやる気力も湧かず、完全に鬱状態で狂いそうだ 』とも訴えた。

年齢が近いこともあったし、部分的には私の境遇と共通する点もあって、心情は充分に理解できました。

人生も第四コーナーに差し掛かった男には辛いだろう。然し、少女をホテルへ連れ込んだことや、別れた奥さんから聞かされた女性問題が頭の中を行ったり来たりしました。

私の回答は次の様なものでした。

間違いなく事務所に若い女性は大勢いる。然し、彼女達はフィリピン政府公認の芸能人であり商売上の商品でもある。街角に屯する女性たちとは違う。

彼女達の家族は借金を抱えており、事務所にも契約や借金が残っているから、簡単に紹介はできない。

多少の危惧を感じながら同胞の好も重なって、当社の顧問弁護士と通訳を紹介し、一月十五日に弁護士事務所で離婚調停が開かれた。

長谷氏が弁護士と接見中に奥さんから聞かされた話は、彼は異常なまでに女好きであること、金銭に対する猜疑心が強く、子供の学費にもこと欠くと云うものでした。

最終的な離婚の条件は、奥さんが三人の子供を引き取り、アパートの一階と二階の権利を保有する。三階は長谷氏の住居との条件で離婚は成立しました。

この事があってから再び彼の連絡が頻繁になり、ゴルフとか食事とかナイト・クラブへの誘いを受けたが、仕事が立て込んでいた事もあり実現はしなかった。

２００５年１月９日、久しぶりに長谷氏から電話があり、『 離婚するから弁護士を紹介して欲しい 』旨の要請を受けたのです。

難しい問題を相談する相手もいないのかと思う反面、少女の一件があったから私に話を持ち込むのは辛かっただろうに、良く相談して来たと変な安ど感もありました。

何故ならば、この国では知り合いだからと迂闊に物事を依頼すると、後日途方もない手数料を要求される。

それで問題が解決すればよいのだが、話を曲げられ更に大きな噂となり、新たな悩みを抱え込む結果になることの方が多い。

揉め事を解決すると云うよりは、問題を拗らせて飯のタネに持ち込む場合が殆どだからです。

半世紀はるかに超え長い歴史を誇った文化交流は、豊臣秀吉公のお言葉をお借りすると、フィリピンの夢は夢のまた夢。日本の夢も夢のまた夢になり果ててしまいました。

直接的には両国と何の関係もない、何の弊害も蒙っていない、何の責任も取る考えもない、一握りの無責任な理想主義者の現実性に乏しいお節介により、多くの不条理と矛盾を浮き彫りにしたまま、フィリピンと日本の文化交流は消滅したのだと云えるのではないでしょうか？

２００３年頃に米国の人権擁護に関する小委員会（ 公聴会 ) から、フィリピン芸能人の日本における活動は、人権擁護の原則に抵触すると烙印を押された形で、時の小泉政権がフィリピン芸能人ビザ発給を事実上廃止しました。

然し、これは余りにも短絡的な行為であり、人間誰もが保障されている平等な職業選択の自由を迫害するものでした。この美し過ぎる論理が人間の尊厳を脅かす、元凶であった様に思えてなりません。

何故ならば、この地でタレント養成所を開設し解ったことですが、タレントに応募する大多数の娘たちは、親兄妹、親類縁者に許しを請い、これらの人達に引率され面接試験を受けます。怖いお兄さんが無理やり連行するのでは決してありません。

解りやすく申し上げれば、親族が若い彼女達に僅かばかりの希望を託し、自らが売り込み活動をする場合が大半を占めていたからです。

また、彼女達を取り扱う窓口はフィリピン政府認可法人であります。最終的には両国政府の采配の基で一回に付き六カ月の興業が行われた訳です。何も実態を把握していない偉い外国人さんが、理想の理念を振りかざして現実にそぐわない論法を無理やり押し付け、無理やり形に嵌め込むべきではなかったのです。
